Celebrating Iran's Independent Creators

Freelancers was an annual gathering built for Iran's growing community of independent creators — designers, developers, writers, photographers and everyone in between who had chosen to work outside the traditional company structure. The event brought them together for talks, workshops and the kind of conversations that only happen when freelancers stop feeling alone in what they do. For the 2019–2020 edition, the organizers needed a landing page that did more than announce dates and a venue. It had to capture the energy of a young, self-directed community, give first-time attendees a real sense of what the day would feel like, and make registering simple enough that nobody bounced halfway through. Webrokh joined the project on the UX and UI side. We worked closely with the organizers to shape the page's story — from the opening pitch through speakers, schedule and registration — and built a visual language that felt closer to a creative manifesto than a typical event website. The result was a landing page that did real work for the community, not just for the calendar.
